Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Fish

Sprinkle the mahi-mahi fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides. Set aside while you prepare the sauce.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat until shimmering.

  2. 3

    Cook the Fish

Add the seasoned mahi-mahi fillets to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Remove the fish from the skillet and set aside on a plate.

Making the Sauce

  1. 4

    Sauté the Garlic

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

  2. 5

    Add Lemon Juice and Capers

Pour in the lemon juice and add the drained capers. Stir well to combine and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.

  3. 6

    Finish the Sauce

Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Place the cooked mahi-mahi on serving plates and generously spoon the lemon caper sauce over the top. Serve immediately.
