Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prep the Chicken

Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. This helps the skin get crispy when smoked.

  2. 2

    Season the Wings

In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them until they are well coated with the seasoning mixture.

Smoking

  1. 3

    Preheat the Smoker

Prepare your smoker according to the manufacturer's instructions and preheat it to 250°F (121°C).

  2. 4

    Smoke the Wings

Place the seasoned chicken wings directly on the smoker grates. Close the lid and smoke the wings for about 1.5 to 2 hours or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Tossing in Sauce

  1. 5

    Choose Your Sauce

While the wings are smoking, you can prepare your sauce. Choose from buffalo, BBQ, or honey mustard sauce.

  2. 6

    Toss the Wings

Once the wings are done smoking, remove them from the smoker and place them in a clean bowl. Pour your chosen sauce over the wings and toss them until they are well coated.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate and Serve

Transfer the tossed wings to a serving platter. Serve hot and enjoy!
