Preparing Sweet Potato Fries
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- 2
Prepare the Sweet Potatoes
Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into waffle fry shapes, ensuring they are evenly sized for uniform cooking.
- 3
Toss with Oil and Seasonings
In a large bowl, combine the cut sweet potatoes with olive oil, cinnamon, brown sugar, and salt. Toss until the fries are evenly coated.
- 4
Bake the Fries
Spread the seasoned sweet potato fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
Adding Caramel Topping

Drizzle Caramel
Once the sweet potato fries are done baking, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly. Drizzle warm caramel sauce generously over the top of the fries.
- 6
Serve
Serve the yams with attitude immediately while they are warm and crispy, garnished with a sprinkle of extra cinnamon if desired.
