Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) to prepare for cooking the ribs.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Ribs

Take the pork ribs and rinse them under cold water. Pat them dry with paper towels.

  3. 3

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub this seasoning mix all over the ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Bake the Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, bone side down. Cover the ribs with another piece of aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the meat is tender and pulling away from the bones.

  2. 5

    Glaze with Barbecue Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top layer of foil. Brush the ribs generously with barbecue sauce on both sides.

  3. 6

    Broil the Ribs

Increase the oven temperature to broil. Place the ribs back in the oven and broil for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and bubbly. Keep a close eye to avoid burning.

Serving

  1. 7

    Slice and Serve

Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for about 5 minutes. Slice between the bones to separate the ribs and serve them hot with extra barbecue sauce on the side.
