Preparing the Ribs
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- 2
Season the Ribs
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Rub this spice mixture all over the ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- 3
Wrap the Ribs
Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in aluminum foil, creating a sealed packet. Place the wrapped ribs on a baking sheet.
- 4
Bake the Ribs
Bake the ribs in the preheated oven for about 2.5 to 3 hours, until they are tender and fully cooked.
Making the BBQ Sauce

Combine Ingredients
In a medium saucepan, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- 6
Simmer the Sauce
Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.
