Tortilla Chips

Pulled Pork

Method

Pulled Pork Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Pork

In a slow cooker, combine the pork shoulder, sliced onion, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, cumin, and chicken broth. Cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.

  2. 2

    Shred the Pork

Once the pork is cooked, remove it from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Mix in 1 cup of BBQ sauce until well combined.

Assembling Nachos

  1. 3

    Prepare the Base

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). On a large baking sheet, spread out the tortilla chips in an even layer.

  2. 4

    Add Pulled Pork

Evenly distribute the shredded pulled pork on top of the tortilla chips.

  3. 5

    Add Cheese and Jalapeños

Sprinkle shredded cheese over the pulled pork, followed by sliced jalapeños.

  4. 6

    Bake the Nachos

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  5. 7

    Serve

Remove from the oven and drizzle with additional BBQ sauce if desired. Garnish with chopped cilantro, and serve hot.
