Preparing the Ribs

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

Prepare the Ribs
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and trim any excess fat.

Season the Ribs
In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Rub this seasoning mixture all over the ribs.
Cooking the Ribs

Bake the Ribs
Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil, cover them with another piece of foil, and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

Finish Cooking
Return the ribs to the oven uncovered and bake for an additional 20-30 minutes, basting with more BBQ sauce halfway through, until the sauce is caramelized.

Make the Coleslaw
In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, carrots, and coleslaw dressing. Toss until well mixed and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Prepare the Cornbread
Prepare cornbread according to package instructions or your favorite recipe. Allow to cool slightly before cutting into squares.
