Ginger Ponzu Dressing

Spicy Vegan Aioli

Method

Preparation of Sashimi

  1. 1

    Prepare the Tuna

Using a sharp knife, slice the yellowfin tuna into thin sashimi slices, about 1/4 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Crust the Tuna

Sprinkle the sesame seeds on a plate. Gently press each slice of tuna into the sesame seeds to coat both sides.

Salad Assembly

  1. 3

    Prepare the Salad Base

In a large bowl, combine the mixed baby greens and micro greens.

  2. 4

    Arrange Sashimi

Place the sesame-crusted tuna slices artfully on top of the greens.

Make the Ginger Ponzu Dressing

  1. 5

    Combine Dressing Ingredients

In a small bowl, whisk together the grated ginger, soy-free tamari, rice vinegar, lime juice, and maple syrup until well combined.

  2. 6

    Drizzle Dressing

Drizzle the ginger ponzu dressing over the salad and tuna.

Prepare Spicy Vegan Aioli

  1. 7

    Blend Aioli Ingredients

In a blender, combine the silken tofu, minced garlic, sriracha, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.

  2. 8

    Serve with Aioli

Serve the salad with a generous dollop of spicy vegan aioli on the side.
