Method
Fried Pork Chop Sandwich Directions
- 1
Prepare the Pork Chops
Season the pork chops with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder on both sides.
- 2
Set Up Breading Station
In three separate shallow dishes, place the flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs. Dredge each pork chop first in flour, then dip in the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- 3
Fry the Pork Chops
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded pork chops and fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 4
Assemble the Sandwich
Toast the bread slices if desired. Spread mayonnaise on each slice, then layer with lettuce, a fried pork chop, a slice of tomato, and top with another slice of bread.
- 5
Serve
Cut the sandwiches in half and serve immediately with your favorite side.
