Cook the Pasta
Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Chicken or Salmon
Pat the chicken or salmon dry with paper towels. Rub the Cajun seasoning evenly over the surface of the chicken or salmon.

Blacken the Chicken or Salmon
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken or salmon and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until blackened and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and let it rest.

Make the Cajun Cream Sauce
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium, add the heavy cream and scrape up any bits from the bottom of the pan. Simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Combine Ingredients
Chop the green onions and dice the tomatoes. Toss the cooked pasta with the Cajun cream sauce, green onions, and tomatoes. Slice the blackened chicken or salmon and serve on top of the pasta.
