Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts generously with Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
Cook the Chicken
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through and blackened. Remove from skillet and let rest.
Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Make the Cajun Cream Sauce
In the same skillet used for the chicken, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute. Pour in the heavy cream and stir, scraping up any browned bits. Let it simmer for about 3-4 minutes until thickened.
Combine Ingredients
Slice the blackened chicken into strips. Add cooked pasta, diced tomatoes, and chopped green onions to the skillet with the cream sauce. Toss everything together until well combined.
Serve
Plate the pasta mixture and top with additional green onions if desired. Enjoy your blackened chicken dish!
