Antipasti Platter
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Olives
Arrange the imported olives on a serving platter. You can use a mix of black and green olives for variety.
- 2
Prepare the Gorgonzola
Cut the gorgonzola cheese into small blocks or slices and place them on the platter alongside the olives.
- 3
Toast the Ciabatta Bread
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Slice the ciabatta loaf into thick slices. Place them on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and let cool slightly.
- 4
Prepare the Turkish Figs
Carefully slice the Turkish figs in half without cutting all the way through. Fill each fig half with a small spoonful of ricotta cheese.
- 5
Add Dried Tomatoes and Fig Jam
Chop the dried tomatoes into small bits and sprinkle them over the stuffed figs. Drizzle or spoon the homemade fig jam on top of the figs for added sweetness.
