Rib Eye Steak
Side Dish (Choice of your favorite)
Method
Preparing the Rib Eye
- 1
Season the Steak
Remove the rib eye steak from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Pat it dry with paper towels. Rub olive oil over the steak, then season generously with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.

- 3
Cook the Steak
Place the seasoned rib eye steak on the hot grill/pan. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side without moving it. Flip the steak and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is reached. Add the sprig of fresh rosemary during the last minute for extra flavor, if desired.
- 4
Rest the Steak
Remove the steak from the grill/pan and let it rest on a cutting board for about 5-10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute.
