In a bowl, combine ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form the mixture into a patty that is slightly larger than the bun.

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, and garlic powder. Mix well and set aside.

On the bottom half of the toasted bun, spread a layer of the burger sauce, add the lettuce, cooked burger patty, American cheese, crispy bacon, tomato slices, onion slices, and finally the top bun.
