Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare the Oil & Vinegar Dressing
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
- 2
Assemble the Sub
Slice the sub rolls in half lengthwise. Layer the roast beef, turkey, ham, salami, and Swiss cheese evenly on the bottom half of each roll.
- 3
Add Toppings
Top the meats and cheese with lettuce, tomato slices, and onion slices.
- 4
Drizzle Dressing
Drizzle the prepared oil and vinegar dressing generously over the toppings.
- 5
Close and Heat
Place the top half of the roll over the fillings. Optionally, wrap the sandwich in foil and heat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sandwich is heated through.
- 6
Serve
Cut the sandwich in half if desired, and serve warm.
