Fried Rice

Method

Fried Rice

  1. 1

    Prepare the Eggs

In a large pan or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium heat. Scramble the eggs until fully cooked, then remove from the pan and set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Vegetables

In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Add the diced carrots and peas, cooking for about 3-4 minutes until they soften.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

Add the cooked rice to the pan, along with the scrambled eggs, green onions, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper. Stir-fry for another 5-7 minutes, ensuring everything is heated through.

Chow Mein

  1. 4

    Cook the Noodles

Boil the chow mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. 5

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large pan or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the garlic, carrots, and bell pepper. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes.

  3. 6

    Combine Noodles and Sauce

Add the cooked noodles and soy sauce to the pan, along with the bean sprouts. Stir-fry for an additional 3-5 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.

Egg Rolls

  1. 7

    Prepare the Filling

In a bowl, mix together the shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, chopped green onions, and soy sauce.

  2. 8

    Roll the Egg Rolls

Place about 2 tablespoons of the filling in the center of each egg roll wrapper. Fold the sides over and roll tightly, sealing the edge with a small amount of water.

  3. 9

    Fry the Egg Rolls

In a deep pan, heat the vegetable oil for frying. Fry the egg rolls in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side. Drain on paper towels.
