Method

Preparation of Shrimp

  1. 1

    Season the Shrimp

In a bowl, season the shrimp with salt and black pepper. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare Marinade

In a separate bowl, mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, honey, and red pepper flakes. Stir well to combine.

  3. 3

    Marinate the Shrimp

Add the seasoned shrimp to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Preheat the Grill or Pan

Preheat your hibachi grill or a large frying pan over medium-high heat.

  2. 5

    Cook the Vegetables

Add the sliced zucchini, bell pepper, onion, and mushrooms to the grill or pan. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender but still crisp. Remove from the pan and set aside.

  3. 6

    Cook the Shrimp

In the same pan or on the grill, add the marinated shrimp. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until they are pink and cooked through.

  4. 7

    Combine Shrimp and Vegetables

Add the cooked vegetables back to the pan with the shrimp and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.

Serving

  1. 8

    Garnish and Serve

Remove the hibachi shrimp and vegetables from the heat. Sprinkle with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
