Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare Vegetables

Wash and chop the potatoes, cauliflower, and spinach. Thinly slice the onion and finely chop the green chili.

  2. 2

    Make the Batter

In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, rice flour, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, red chili powder, and salt. Gradually add water to form a smooth batter.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a deep frying pan, heat oil over medium-high heat until hot.

  2. 4

    Coat the Vegetables

Dip the prepared vegetables in the batter, ensuring they are well coated.

  3. 5

    Fry the Pakoras

Carefully drop the coated vegetables into the hot oil. Fry in batches until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes.

  4. 6

    Drain and Serve

Remove the pakoras from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with chutney or sauce.
