Garlic Chili Chutney

Method

Garlic Chili Chutney

    Prepare Garlic

    Peel and roughly chop the garlic cloves.

    Blend Ingredients

    In a blender, combine the chopped garlic, red chili powder, salt, lemon juice, and oil. Blend until smooth.

    Adjust Seasoning

    Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Add more salt or lemon juice to taste.

Tamarind Chutney

    Combine Ingredients

    In a saucepan, combine tamarind paste, jaggery (or brown sugar), cumin powder, salt, and water.

    Cook Mixture

    Heat over medium flame and stir until jaggery dissolves completely.

    Cool and Serve

    Let the chutney cool before serving. Adjust sweetness as needed.

Coconut Chutney

    Blend Ingredients

    In a blender, combine fresh grated coconut, green chilies, salt, roasted chana dal, and water. Blend until smooth.

    Add more water if needed to reach the desired consistency.

Cranberry Habanero Chutney

    In a saucepan, combine fresh cranberries, habanero pepper (chopped), sugar, and water.
