Mojito Tea Ingredients

Method

Mojito Tea Directions

1

Brew the Green Tea

In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add 2 tablespoons of green tea leaves. Let it steep for about 3-5 minutes. Strain the tea into a pitcher and let it cool.

2

Prepare the Lime and Mint

While the tea is cooling, take 1 cup of lime pieces and muddle them in a bowl with 1 tablespoon of peppermint and 10 lime leaves. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to release the juices and flavors.

3

Combine Ingredients

Once the green tea has cooled, add the muddled lime and mint mixture to the pitcher. If desired, add 2 tablespoons of sugar or honey for sweetness.

4

Add Lemongrass

Chop 1 tablespoon of lemongrass finely and add it to the pitcher. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.

5

Serve

Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the mojito tea mixture over the ice. Top off each glass with sparkling water for a refreshing fizz.

6

Garnish (optional)

Garnish each glass with a sprig of fresh mint or a slice of lime for an extra touch.
