Method

Salad Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Salad Base

In a large salad bowl, add 4 cups of spring mix salad greens. Ensure the greens are fresh and well-washed.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook 4 slices of bacon until crispy. Remove from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess fat. Once cooled, crumble the bacon into small pieces.

  3. 3

    Add Smoked Turkey

Slice the 8 oz of smoked turkey breast into strips or bite-sized pieces and add to the salad bowl.

Toppings Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare the Avocado

Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh out with a spoon. Slice or dice the avocado and place it on top of the salad.

  2. 5

    Add Hard Cheese

Grate or shave 1 cup of hard cheese (like Parmesan or Pecorino) and sprinkle it over the salad.

  3. 6

    Add Crumbled Bacon

Sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the salad for added flavor and crunch.

Dressing Preparation

  1. 7

    Mix the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar, 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard, and 1 teaspoon of honey. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  2. 8

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle the prepared dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine all the ingredients evenly.
