Method

Chicken Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Start by seasoning the boneless chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Breading the Chicken

Dredge the chicken in flour, dip it in beaten eggs, and then coat it with panko breadcrumbs.

  3. 3

    Fry the Chicken

Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

Waffle Preparation

  1. 4

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

  2. 5

    Mix Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

  3. 6

    Combine and Cook Waffles

Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Preheat your waffle maker and cook the waffles according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Maple Honey Syrup Preparation

  1. 7

    Combine Syrup Ingredients

In a small saucepan, combine the maple syrup and honey over low heat. Stir until warmed and well mixed.

Chipotle Aioli Preparation

  1. 8

    Make the Aioli

In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, chipotle peppers, and lemon juice. Mix until smooth.

Assembly

  1. 9

    Assemble the Sliders

Cut the waffles into smaller pieces. Place a piece of fried chicken on a waffle, drizzle with maple honey syrup, and add a dollop of chipotle aioli. Top with another waffle piece to form a slider. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
