Burger Patty

Prepare the Patty Mixture
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix with your hands until just combined; avoid overmixing.

Form the Patties
Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into round burger patties, about ¾ inch thick.

Cook the Bacon
In a skillet, cook the bacon slices over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Roast the Green Chile
Char the whole green chile on the grill or over an open flame until the skin is blistered. Remove from heat, place in a plastic bag to steam for 10 minutes, then peel off the skin and set aside.

Prepare the Onion Rings
Prepare beer batter and dip the onion rings into it. Fry in hot oil until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

Toast the Buns
Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

Assemble the Burger
Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun. Place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked patty. Top with a slice of pepperjack cheese, bacon, roasted green chile, and onion rings. Add a slice of tomato and pickles on top, then cover with the top half of the bun.
