Prepare the Brownie Batter
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, melt the butter. Once melted, add the sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract. Mix well until combined.

Pour the brownie batter into a greased 9x9 inch baking dish.

Once cooled, slice the brownies into squares.
