Cold Fountain Coke (single serving)
Coke Float (single serving)
Coke Mocktail: Citrus & Mint (single serving)
Method
Cold Fountain Coke (single serving)
Chill glass: place a tall glass in the refrigerator or freezer for 5–10 minutes to get it nicely chilled (optional).
Add ice: fill the chilled glass about three‑quarters full with ice cubes (≈1 cup).
Pour Coke: slowly pour 12 fl oz of chilled Coca‑Cola over the ice to minimize foaming and maintain carbonation.
Coke Float (single serving)
Add ice cream: place two generous scoops of vanilla ice cream into the glass. If you prefer a firmer float, slightly press one scoop to create a stable base.
Pour Coke slowly: gently pour 8 fl oz of chilled Coca‑Cola down the side of the glass over the ice cream. Pour slowly so the foam settles and doesn't overflow.
Optional ice: if you want a colder, more diluted float, add a small amount of ice cubes around the ice cream before pouring the Coke (use sparingly to reduce overflow).
Garnish and serve: top with a maraschino cherry, a long spoon and a straw. Serve immediately so the ice cream remains scoopable.
Coke Mocktail: Citrus & Mint (single serving)
Muddle mint and syrup: in a chilled highball or Collins glass, place 6 fresh mint leaves and 0.5 tablespoon simple syrup. Gently muddle to release the mint oils—do not pulverize the leaves.
Add juices and ice: add 1 fl oz fresh orange juice and 0.5 fl oz fresh lime juice to the glass. Fill the glass with crushed ice to the top (≈1 cup).
Top with Coke: slowly pour 6 fl oz of chilled Coca‑Cola over the ice and juices to preserve carbonation. Stir once gently to combine flavors—do not over‑stir.
Garnish and serve: finish with a lime wheel or a sprig of mint. Serve with a straw and enjoy immediately.
