Preparation
Preparation of Fries
1. Cutting the Potatoes
Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into even-sized strips, about 1/4 inch thick.
2. Soaking the Potatoes
Soak the cut fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat dry.
3. Seasoning
In a large bowl, toss the dried fries with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
4. Baking
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the seasoned fries in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
