1. Prepare the Lavender Simple Syrup
In a small saucepan, combine equal parts water and sugar (1 cup each). Add 2 tablespoons of dried lavender flowers and bring to a simmer. Stir until sugar is dissolved, then remove from heat and let steep for 30 minutes. Strain and cool.
2. Mix the Cocktail
In a cocktail shaker, combine the Tanqueray Gin, lavender simple syrup, fresh lemon juice, and Lillet Blanc. Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
3. Prepare the Glass
Spray or rinse a chilled coupe glass with Absinthe to coat the inside and discard any excess.
4. Strain and Serve
Strain the cocktail mixture into the prepared glass. Garnish with edible lavender flowers for a floral touch.
