Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lobster

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the lobster and cook for 8-10 minutes until bright red and cooked through. Remove the lobster from the pot, and let it cool. Once cool, crack the shell and remove the meat for serving.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Shrimp

In the same pot, add the jumbo shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from the pot, cool, and peel the shells, leaving the tails intact for presentation.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Oysters

Shuck the oysters carefully, discarding the top shell. Place the oysters on a platter with the deeper shell facing up to hold the juices.

Serving

  1. 4

    Assemble the Platter

On a large serving platter, arrange the lobster meat, jumbo shrimp, and oysters artfully. Ensure the lobster is placed prominently in the center.

  2. 5

    Add Accompaniments

Garnish the platter with lemon wedges, and serve cocktail sauce, melted butter, and hot sauce on the side for dipping.
