Method

Preparation of Strawberry-Infused Bombay Sapphire

  1. 1

    Infuse the Gin

In a jar, combine 1 cup of fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced, with 750ml of Bombay Sapphire Gin. Seal the jar tightly and let it sit in a cool, dark place for at least 24 hours, allowing the strawberries to infuse their flavor into the gin. Strain the gin through a fine-mesh sieve before using.

Cocktail Assembly

  1. 2

    Prepare Cucumber Water

Peel and slice the cucumber into thin rounds. In a blender, combine the cucumber slices with 1 cup of water and blend until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve to extract cucumber water.

  2. 3

    Mix the Cocktail

In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of the strawberry-infused Bombay Sapphire, 1 oz of fresh lemon juice, 0.5 oz of simple syrup, and 2 oz of cucumber water. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well for about 15 seconds.

  3. 4

    Serve

Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice. Top with 2 oz of club soda for a refreshing fizz.

  4. 5

    Garnish

Garnish the drink with 3 slices of strawberries, 2 slices of cucumber, and a lemon wheel for an elegant presentation.
