Method
Shrimp
- 1
Prepare the Shrimp
Peel and devein the jumbo shrimp, removing the shells and tails.
- 2
Sauté Garlic
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic cloves and sauté until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
- 3
Cook Shrimp
Add the shrimp to the skillet, along with the red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
- 4
Finish the Dish
Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the fresh parsley and lemon juice. Set aside.
Polenta
- 5
Boil Water
In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Add salt.
- 6
Cook Polenta
Slowly whisk in the cornmeal, reducing the heat to low. Cook, stirring frequently, for about 20-25 minutes until the polenta is thick and creamy.
- 7
Add Butter and Cheese
Stir in the butter and parmesan cheese until fully melted and combined.
