In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.

Dip the Bread

Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for a few seconds on each side.

Cook the French Toast

Place the soaked bread slices on the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Add more butter as needed to the skillet.

Remove the French toast from the skillet and serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar and drizzled with maple syrup.
