Crispy brussels sprouts with maple-tamari glaze

Preheat the oven

Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow or damaged leaves. Cut them in half lengthwise.

Prepare the Brussels sprouts

In a mixing bowl, whisk together maple syrup, tamari sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt until well combined.

In a large bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts with the maple-tamari glaze. Toss until the Brussels sprouts are well coated.

Spread the glazed Brussels sprouts evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Roast the Brussels sprouts in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until they are crispy and caramelized, stirring halfway through.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm as a side dish or appetizer.
