Prepare the crust
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.

Form the crust
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool.

Prepare the filling
In a large mixing bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, egg yolks, and lime zest. Whisk until smooth and well combined.

Fill the crust
Pour the lime filling into the cooled graham cracker crust, spreading it evenly.

Bake the pie
Bake in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 3 hours to set.

Make the whipped cream
In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar. Using an electric mixer, whip on high speed until soft peaks form.

Spread the whipped cream over the chilled pie and garnish with additional lime zest.
