Brewing the Tea

   Boil the Water

   In a kettle or pot, bring 4 cups of fresh, cold water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.

   Add Tea

   Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 teaspoons of loose tea leaves or 4 tea bags. Stir gently.

   Steep the Tea

   Cover the kettle or pot and let the tea steep for about 3-5 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer your tea.

   Strain or Remove Tea Bags

   After steeping, strain the tea into cups or remove the tea bags. Be careful, as the tea will be hot.

   Add Sweeteners and Extras

   If desired, add honey, lemon slices, or milk to taste. Stir well to combine.

   Serve Hot

   Serve the tea hot, and enjoy your comforting cup of hot tea!
