    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    In a large skillet or mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

    Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.

    In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.

    Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

    Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

Baking

    Transfer to Skillet

    Transfer the cookie dough to a cast-iron skillet and spread it evenly.

    Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the center is soft.
