Chicken Tenders

Method

Prepare Chicken Tenders

  1. 1

    Coat the Chicken

In three separate bowls, place flour mixed with salt, pepper, and garlic powder in one; beaten eggs in the second; and breadcrumbs in the third. Dredge each chicken tender first in the flour, then dip in the eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.

  2. 2

    Fry the Chicken

Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the breaded chicken tenders in batches and fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Make Buffalo Sauce

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, stir in the hot sauce, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well until combined and heated through.

  2. 4

    Toss Chicken in Sauce

Once the chicken tenders are fried, place them in a large bowl, pour the buffalo sauce over them, and toss until they are evenly coated.

Assemble Grinders

  1. 5

    Prepare the Rolls

Slice the Cuban rolls in half lengthwise, but do not cut all the way through to keep them attached.

  2. 6

    Fill the Rolls

Layer shredded lettuce, slices of tomato, and pickles inside each roll. Add the buffalo chicken tenders on top.

  3. 7

    Serve

Drizzle ranch or blue cheese dressing over the chicken, close the rolls, and serve immediately.
