Prepare the Pork Cutlets
Pound the pork cutlets to about 1/2 inch thickness using a meat mallet.

Set Up Breading Station
Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour mixed with salt and black pepper, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs.

Bread the Cutlets
Dredge each pork cutlet first in flour, then dip in the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.

Pan-Fry the Schnitzel
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the breaded cutlets for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.

Prepare the Potatoes
Peel and chop the potatoes into equal-sized chunks.

Stout Mushroom Gravy

Add Liquids
Pour in the stout beer and beef broth. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 5 minutes.

Thicken the Gravy
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water until smooth. Add to the gravy and stir until thickened. Season with salt and black pepper.
