Burger Patties

Prepare the Patties
In a bowl, mix the Black Angus ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form the mixture into two equal patties, about 1/4 lb each.

Make the Jam
Add brown sugar, bourbon, apple cider vinegar, and black pepper to the skillet. Crumble the cooked bacon and stir everything together. Simmer for about 10 minutes until thickened.
BBQ Sauce

Prepare the Sauce
While the patties are cooking, warm the hickory smoked BBQ sauce in a small saucepan over low heat.
Burger Assembly

Assemble the Burger
On the bottom half of each burger bun, place a lettuce leaf and a slice of tomato. Add the cooked burger patty on top.

Add Toppings
Top the patty with a slice of cheddar cheese, a generous scoop of bourbon bacon jam, and a drizzle of hickory smoked BBQ sauce.

Finish the Burger
Place the top half of the bun on the burger. Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
