Method
Prepare the Burger Patty

Season the Beef
In a bowl, combine the Black Angus ground beef with salt and black pepper. Mix gently to incorporate the seasonings without overworking the meat.

Form the Patty
Shape the seasoned ground beef into a round patty that is slightly larger than the burger bun, making a 1/2 lb patty.
Cook the Bacon

Prepare the Barney Sauce

Mix the Sauce
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, pickle relish, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well until fully combined.
Assemble the Burger

Build the Burger
On the bottom half of the burger bun, spread a generous amount of Barney sauce. Place the cooked burger patty with melted cheese on top, followed by the crispy bacon. If desired, add lettuce and tomato before placing the top half of the bun on.
