Shrimp Dip

Po'Boy Assembly

Method

Shrimp Dip Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Shrimp

Boil or steam the shrimp until fully cooked, approximately 5-7 minutes. Drain and let cool before chopping into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Mix the Dip

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, mayo, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.

  3. 3

    Add Shrimp and Chives

Fold the chopped shrimp and chives into the dip mixture. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

  4. 4

    Chill

Cover the dip with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld together.

Po'Boy Assembly

  1. 5

    Prepare the Bread

Slice the Gambino bread pieces lengthwise, creating a pocket for the filling.

  2. 6

    Layer the Ingredients

Start by adding a layer of roast beef into the bread, followed by a layer of Swiss cheese, lettuce, sliced onion, and pickles.

  3. 7

    Add the Shrimp Dip

Spread a generous amount of the shrimp dip over the top of the layered ingredients.

  4. 8

    Close and Serve

Close the sandwich and serve immediately with extra shrimp dip on the side if desired.
