Prepare the Chili

Cook the Beef and Vegetables
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and diced onion. Cook until the beef is browned, about 5-7 minutes, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.

Add Spices and Sauce
Stir in chili powder, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine. Pour in the tomato sauce and bring to a simmer. Lower the heat and let it cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Assemble the Salad

Prepare the Salad Base
In a large mixing bowl, combine the lettuce mix, cherry tomatoes (halved), chopped green onions, black olives, and cheddar cheese. Toss gently to combine.

Once the chili is cooked, spoon a generous amount over the salad mixture.
