    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Melt Butter

In a medium saucepan, melt 1 cup of unsalted butter over low heat.

  3. 3

    Mix Sugars and Eggs

In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, 1 cup granulated sugar, and 1 cup brown sugar. Beat in 2 large eggs and 2 tsp of vanilla extract until well combined.

  4. 4

    Combine Dry Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk together 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 tsp baking powder, and 1 tsp salt.

  5. 5

    Combine All Ingredients

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

Pecan Topping

    Prepare Toppings

Fold in the 1 cup of chopped pecans and 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips into the cobbler batter.

Baking

    Bake Cobbler

Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out slightly moist but not wet.
