Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the thinly sliced ribeye steak with salt and black pepper. Add the steak to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Add the sliced green bell pepper and onion. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are softened and slightly caramelized. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  3. 3

    Combine Steak and Vegetables

Return the cooked steak to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Mix well and let everything cook together for an additional 2 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add Cheese

Sprinkle the shredded pepperjack cheese over the steak and vegetable mixture. Cover the skillet with a lid and allow the cheese to melt for about 2 minutes.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Sandwich

Slice the hoagie buns open and fill each one with the steak, pepper, onion, and melted cheese mixture. Serve immediately.
