In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove from skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.

In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the flour and whisk for 1-2 minutes until golden. Gradually add the milk while continuously whisking until the mixture thickens. Stir in the cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper until melted and smooth.

Cook the Hot Dogs

In the same skillet or grill, cook the hot dog sausages until heated through and slightly charred.

Assemble the Bacon Cheese Dog

Place each hot dog in a bun, top with crispy bacon pieces and drizzle the cheese sauce over the top.
