Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a mixing bowl, shape the ground beef into two equal patties, ensuring they are slightly larger than the burger buns as they will shrink while cooking.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

After flipping the patties, place one slice of American cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the burgers reach your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Buns

While the burgers are cooking, lightly toast the burger bun halves on the grill or in a toaster.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, add ketchup, mustard, pickles, and onions. Place one cheeseburger patty on top, followed by the second patty. Top with more condiments if desired and cover with the top half of the bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the double cheeseburger immediately while hot.
