Deviled Eggs Ingredients

Method

Preparation Directions

  1. 1

    Boil the Eggs

Place the eggs in a pot and cover them with cold water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, cover the pot and remove it from heat. Let the eggs sit for 12 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cool and Peel

After 12 minutes, transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool for about 5-10 minutes. Once cool, gently tap the eggs on a hard surface and peel the shells off.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Filling

Cut the peeled eggs in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl. Mash the yolks with a fork, then add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.

  4. 4

    Fill the Eggs

Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites. Sprinkle with paprika and garnish with chives or parsley if desired.

  5. 5

    Serve

Arrange the deviled eggs on a platter and serve chilled or at room temperature.
