Method

Preparation Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chutney

In a saucepan, combine the seasonal fruit, sugar, apple cider vinegar, grated ginger, and cinnamon. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to a simmer. Cook for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens. Allow to cool.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Crostini

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices. Arrange the slices on a baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Crostini

Spread a layer of goat cheese on each toasted baguette slice, followed by a slice of brie cheese. Top with a generous spoonful of the prepared seasonal chutney.

  4. 4

    Serve

Arrange the crostini on a serving platter and serve immediately.
