- 1
Gather Ingredients
Collect all the ingredients needed for the Sauced Old Fashioned: Woodford Reserve Bourbon, simple syrup, Angostura bitters, an orange, and ice cubes.
- 2
Prepare the Glass
Take a rocks glass and fill it with ice cubes, allowing the glass to chill while you prepare the drink.
- 3
Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass filled with ice, pour 2 oz of Woodford Reserve Bourbon, 0.5 oz of simple syrup, and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters.
- 4
Stir the Mixture
Using a bar spoon, stir the mixture gently for about 20-30 seconds to chill the ingredients and combine the flavors.
- 5
Strain into the Glass
Remove the ice from the rocks glass and strain the mixed ingredients into the glass over fresh ice.
- 6
Garnish with Orange Twist
