Preparation

1. Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt. Mix well to create a marinade.

2. Marinate the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.

3. Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F or 190°C).

4. Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it on the grill. Grill for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

During the last 2 minutes of grilling, brush the salmon with BBQ sauce to add flavor and glaze.
