Toppings

Method

House Rub

  1. 1

    Prepare the House Rub

In a small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Fries

  1. 2

    Bake the Fries

Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the frozen french fries package. Spread the frozen fries on a baking sheet and sprinkle the house rub evenly over them. Bake according to package instructions, usually about 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through until golden and crispy.

Queso

  1. 3

    Make the Queso

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the Velveeta cheese, diced tomatoes with green chiles, and milk. Stir occasionally until the cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth. Keep warm until ready to serve.

Baked Beans

  1. 4

    Heat the Baked Beans

Open the can of baked beans and pour the contents into a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until warmed through. This should take about 5-7 minutes.

Toppings

  1. 5

    Prepare the Green Onions

Wash and slice the green onions thinly. Set aside for garnishing the fries.

Chipotle Lime Ranch

  1. 6

    Make the Chipotle Lime Ranch

In a small bowl, combine ranch dressing, chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, and lime juice. Mix well until everything is combined and smooth.

Assembly

  1. 7

    Assemble the Honky Tonk Fries

Once the fries are baked, remove them from the oven. On a large serving platter, layer the crispy fries, then pour the warm queso over the top. Add the warmed baked beans, sprinkle with sliced green onions, and drizzle with chipotle lime ranch. Serve immediately.
